Another long and lonely night,

Typing, writing, editing.

Reverse that, start again.

Somehow it all turns out right

While I sit here, wondering.

You call, late as usual, and then

Quietly I turn off the light.

Sitting here in the dark, pondering,

I forever wonder why, and when.
