What if my brain
Has been wasting its time
Thinking of thoughts
With words that do rhyme?

What if instead
There are thoughts
I should focus
Giving my life
A better locus?

How would I know
If the thoughts I do think
Is just my brain
Making a cerebral wink?

If my brain
Is effective barely
Would that actually
Matter really?

It might be too deep
For my limited ken
So now I will just sleep
Like a bear in its den.
