december twentieth by Ava Blu
i am a blank slate,
an empty, white background
waiting for you to color
my world;
if you can do this,
if you can shower me with colors,
i know the slate can be
whole again.

Posted by Shonda Chrissonberry on 12/21/08 at 04:16 AM I have found through experience, that I must color myself ~ because if I leave it up to someone else to do it...they will scribble out of the lines and I am left to clean up the mess. Excellent write. :) |
Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 12/22/08 at 05:52 AM Well, if anyone deserves that kind of treatment, it's you. I like the idea in this of being able to start fresh. It's harder than it sounds, and it often takes more strength than it gets credit for. I think you express that beautifully here. |
Posted by Anita Mac on 12/25/08 at 04:54 AM I love the idea of a blank slate not being quite whole. It fits quite well. And Gabriel's right, if anyone deserves it... |
