In the Bag

by David R Spellman

I’m bringing home a bag of shit
Oh Dear, now don’t you have a fit.

It happened now just down the road
Our dog, he had to drop his load
And I was left with choice to make –
To leave it there or should I take
It was then I heard the neighbor yell
“Hey, you know that’s gonna smell!
You’d better take that bag in hand
And get that thing right off my land.
You realize I know where you live
And believe me sir, that I will give
A shit that’s yours right back to you.
So take your bag and grab that doo.”

Oh, my dear, don’t have a fit
I’m bringing home a bag of shit!

Lot of really fun, engaging-as-hell wordplay in this, man. I really enjoyed it.

Hee hee hee! I ket my daughter's dog over the spring and summer and got rather familiar with this very thing. I love the way you've framed and written it!

*ahem* The word is "kept". Sorry about the typo.
