the original title of this could hurt someone by Nanette Bellmani'm not asking you to be someone other than you.
i'm not asking you to be what i want you to be.
i'm just asking you to meet me halfway.
i'm willing to make these compromises.
to make changes too.
but tell me, how much time do i need to give you
too make these improvements, these changes?
do i need to take the first step forward
and hope you follow behind?
is this really worth my time and energy?
my thoughts and words and breaths?
because this is a constant thing,
this wanting these things from each other.
wanting these changes.
but the only thing i can see through my eyes,
my perceptions, is...
the only thing that changes is everything stays the same. 12/09/2008 Author's Note: original title is "i'm beginging to think (this is pointless)" *you spin me right round baby right round*

Posted by Johnny Crimson on 12/09/08 at 05:17 PM again, i always like how honest you are. Good work. |
Posted by George Hoerner on 12/09/08 at 06:40 PM I just hope it works out best for you. For me relaionships have to be more than 50% in each direction. We all sometimes give up somethings for the other. But if you always give and get nothing in return, you should start asking yourself if you really like the pain of rejection. |
Posted by Steven Kenworthy on 12/11/08 at 02:59 AM i know this relationship is nothing of what you wish, but what would you write about without it? pain and confusion make for such great poetic fuel...i'd hate to see you lose your steam. ;) either way, this is excellent and i am eager to see what you can produce in the future...with all sorts of new and exciting inspirations. keep it goin' girl... |
