clementine

by Katie Dean

citrus sweet poison the
two men sucked off
their teeth
while the washing machine
hummed a song of lover’s lament rinsing out
the intoxicating smell
a poison of lost hours
three pronged fork tonguing
one Clementine two lemons in a tin bowl
suds have turned to ashes
China’s clothes are shining

Some strange imagery going on, but it's still some incredibly interesting stuff. Great read.
