I watch for her entrance on the stage

A smile, that makes life worth the living.

She plays the part, living in the moment

Her shining eyes are so forgiving.

I hold flowers for her, my heart to her hand.

The Dramatis Personae, as it were.

This much, I know she does understand.

I want to shout out how much I love her.

Author's Note: Emily is in the midst of the production of "Shakespeare's Ladies"... she plays one of the leads, Katherine, from "Taming of the Shrew"... I was blown away by the performance.... pretty awesome for a shy 7th grader....
