i choose insomnia by Ava Blu
shes one of those girls
who shaves pieces off
so she can fit into his wallet
she reads all the magazines
that tell her how to keep a man,
how to have an orgasm
and how to be beautiful
I want to find a manual for how to be ugly
Id buy that
its the ugly people who get noticed the most
they dont shave
and theyll never fit in your back pocket
they stay up all night
reading unknown authors
and drinking chai
theyre so rarely touched
that it becomes easy
to never sleep.

| Posted by George Hoerner on 12/06/08 at 07:47 PM Really nice write Jeanna. I used to young enough to chhose insomnia but that was long ago and far away unless I'm up late writing. A different perspective is exactly what most of us need, a different view of reality. If one could only determine what it really is. |
