Open House by Amanda BullingtonShe sips her coffee
A blank look on her face
But behind it a thousand worries
Her brow furrows
The sunlight reflecting off her
Gazing eyes and bright white t-shirt
As she grips her cup
With all her frustrations pouring
Into her fingertips
Behind the blindless windows
The neighbors stare back at her
With the same worries
Who is this new woman
Waiting by the window
From where did she come
And will she make a great addition
To this sleepy street? 12/04/2008 Author's Note: http://www.contractorinsocal.com/woman_at_window.jpg
