Love's Heart Shaped You by Christopher ShinLove ends with
tyranny of the heart.
So the needle digs
deep into my heart.
When you say
the words that
I dread the most.
When you say
you love me.
Yet it only happens
in the dreams I
stagger by.
And I wish that
life was a dream
rather then the
hopeless eternity
that people say
are short.
Yet I look back
and love the
stars only to find
them spitting
at the stardust.
I wish I can be
like the dreamers
but only face the
heartache of being
me.
So it ends and begins
with love and the loveless
cries in the corner
next to me.
