come taste the fire by Maria Massarellacome
not
to experience me
in the obsequious slenderness
of hot stilettos – or to speak
a vertiginous climb up fish
nets to thong - oops I meant
thigh! nor to
delve into curvehugging lea
ther and lace your cares-
sing gaze sliding lush the contours
to valley intentions in my décolleté
… though
in verità … if truth be said
be it
your intention
it would be not
of me
to complain
this pregnant storm of mine
fuels spiritmind bodyness there
where desire engulfs my-ndseye in
permissive pervasions of tongues
elaborating hunger's blaze to lips in m
otion
where
y
o
u
come taste the fire
