11. I Hope You Don't by Arianna Woods(full title: I hope you don't hate me as much as I think you do)
I slept on your couch
Every day for three months
While your family ate dinner
I didn't think you'd mind.
You didn't.
I never once asked for a diet Sprite
You already had one for me
Every day for four months.
You knew it would be
What I'd ask for.
Your window was always open
At one in the morning
To have a sleepover
Of the dirtiest nature
Between you and me only
Every night for five months
(I wouldn't walk three miles at midnight
For anyone else.)
You asked me every day for six months
If I wanted kids when we got married
I hate kids.
I said yes anyway. 11/20/2008 Posted on 11/20/2008 Copyright © 2024 Arianna Woods

Posted by Jared Fladeland on 11/25/08 at 03:09 AM part of this reminds me alot of some of the relationships i had when i was just a tish younger (not to sound all "i am old." because i'm only 23), but many of those relationships were just. i dunno. i suppose i romanticize many of them now in retrospect. but they were something special, even though they weren't lasting |
