Yes, indeed! Taking care of one's hands is essential. (My youngest brother just had a second surgery on his right hand for a severe wound from a fall from a ladder a couple of days ago. He came through the surgery well and prognosis for healing is good. He cut the main artery and tendons and nerves to his hand. Nasty! But the doctors were able to connect the tendons and all but one nerve.)
