does she?

by Emily Davidson

does she know?
does she?

does she know that you called me up
just about 3am
saying you were bored
and a little lonely
and a little horny
and you could use some company

and you know me,
i always come

does she know?

you say you love her and tell me about her
while we're in bed
and i try to tune it out because
i'm tired of hearing it

and i should probably be jealous because
you don't love me
like you do her
you don't think i've got the
wits or the brains to even compare

but still,
i spend the night

does she know?
does she?
