happen every shift.

The table of two
spending over $1000.

The four top
toppling $5000.

Getting a table
of eight people
sat down at 6:45
drinks
2+ bottles of wine
appetizers
salads
entrees
dessert
coffee
and out by 7:45
to make
the Broadway show.

They happen.

Getting a table
with 6 or more people
to ask
if gratuity is included
(which is not)
is like receiving
that Christmas gift
I had waited for
all year long
only to learn
there is a newer version
and I got it:

"No, it is NOT!
Thank you."

Not only do I know
they cared about
the good service
I did give
but
they also want
to reward me
so
more often than not
their dining pleasure
equals
my monetary success.
