In the gentleness of summer when the kindness of winds blew
I was caught in the essence, of you
but you were a cut above, the world I knew
so my heart did hunger in the want of you
The warmth of your lips, the touch of your hands
a sensuous fruit of a distant land
the wonder, like starlight dancing in dreams
in the emptiness, the raging fear
the screen, the movie screen
ten stories or was the thirty, that image of you
the sun has rose and fell more time than I can count
the sadness of time, the falling of tears
across the universe yet I shall not know
the sweetness the life the glory of…
