Nothing more effectively
puts a waiter
between honesty
and the money
quickly evaporating
from his or her pocket
as the question
left only to ponder:

"Is this tip okay?"

The possible answers
are simply yes
or no
but the truthful response
is never used
assuming the waiter
wants to keep a job.

So the answer
allows the trend
to continue
an endless loop
of bad tipping
until someone
somewhere
learns them
of appropriate tipping
but until then
the answer
almost always is:

"Yeah, that's...great."
