Job

by Joe Cramer

I still dream of teaching

Wondering about grades,

And correcting essays.

Never a test or quiz

That I ever gave.

I know that I made

A huge mistake.

It's far too late.

I left my passion,

My career

To just have a job.

Great honest piece. I don't think it's too late to go back Joe. The women in my family are all teachers (nearly alll of them...13 or so), so i know all about the sense of thinking about work outside of work

This is quite honest, but also makes me wonder what the state of the world would be if everyone just quit their "jobs" and took on a career they loved...what would it all be like then? ~JPP
