plastic pieces

by Dani Rose

how enthralling
it might be to
climb into your
ulterior motive--
to caress the smooth
exterior of
your false delight.

how intoxicating--
how invigorating,
it could be
to bask in the glow
of your saccharine sweet
bleached white smile.

...'climb into your ulterior motive'...'exterior delight'...dani, love the use of metaphor bordering on the lovely...

That last stanza is just some really wonderful work on your part. The image is perfect.

It would have to be a pretty BIG ulterior motive for me to fit into it...hehe. Love this.
