Filch by Melissa PantherInstant gratification
was never what you needed
it filled,
consumed, drained,
removed enough
and left open elements
that are never touched
Perhaps none of what
parted and drew you
along like streams
rushing towards rivers
indicated
this would happen,
that you would begin to
move this way, that you
would find comfort in a
motion that never changes
There's unexpected and
then there's a letting go
that has to happen
maybe it did,
maybe it had to
it's clear only when it's
abstract
and you don't answer questions.
