warning: one day! by Charlie Morganall took me by surprise, ebb and flow
of the years. some up. some down, some?
confusion sets in as we tag the days:
and all end in Y. many should end in Why?
some of us have our pictures on Rolling Stone.
some in the post offices of every downtown.
each sought for the greed of being the one;
the one who snapped a still-life of life.
art is the lies of a truth we already know;
and stepping-up one rung, a hell is different.
getting here is half the claim; the record
is in rosetta written on a sonoran breeze.
a shiver of cold wafts by, tickling; warning
of a coming day's revenge at the cool night. 10/01/2008 Posted on 10/01/2008 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

I think more of the infinite, both large and small and believe more of mirror images reflecting existence. That is one thing our logic hasn't mastered yet and may never be able to do. It can't handle inconsistency. But we search on blindly for meaning like Don Q with solid belief. |
