When the blood no longer flows by Keith D AllisonTime draws to a close
dam built to stop life’s flow
so different now dimming light
from the beginning
when life glows
so long so long-ago
entering life's island
within the warmth of this rock
by a peak stretching forth into the heavens
The life is wasted danced on the young
learning the sweet song of pain
bless of love and faith
hopes eternity upon the life's sea
now the cycle end
the fame fades away
the last sunset falls
the carbon unit slips away
So sprinkle the canvas
in the colors of love
in the scent of faith
in the hope of eternity
