So I wrote you a note today
and had a friend pass it along
wishing I was in grade school
and that tactic would actually work

It had two check boxes
one for yes
and one for no
there was no spot for a maybe

I waited and waited
wondering when I would get the note back
see, you didn't have to write me one
just check a box

Simple
Somehow you say it's
Complicated

So I wrote you a poem today
Not for you
About you again
wondering why you say
its Complicated
