She strode by

Unaware of my

Existence

On the planet.

(Or any other

Planet for that matter!)

I watched,

Carefully,

Cautiously

For any sembalence

Of understanding,

Of knowing.

That which is real

Still remains

Unreal.

She strode by

I could not

Catch her eye.

I still wonder why.
