The War in Me.

by Christopher Shin

I see the news today,
and the war inside
my world is destroying
the families that
strive to stand
against the fall.

Slowly the hearts
break like fragile
vases against
the infinite blue.

Black bubbles bursts
into the silver
tongues and ashen
minds.

Crows murder through
the sky as the
smokey skies
explodes into
the rays of the
blinding light.

I am here and
the war goes on.
My eyes wishes
for the darkness,
and it is gone
with the days.
