The Alpha and Omega

by Joe Cramer

When there is a beginning and an end

What difference does it make in the middle?

Where does one start, at first, start to begin?

Why does life have to be such a riddle?

Often enough it does not satisfy

As life's pages creep slowly and move on.

Does this moebius strip now ratify?

What has gone on into the great beyond?

Alpha and Omega are simple means

To share this time that is now so traveled.

Something's lost in translation, inbetween

This distance has now become unraveled

As such an end is not available.

It is the journey that's assailable.
