Colors

by S. Pelham Flood

Cool blues.
Radiant reds.
Reds, reds which remind
me of a rose.
Little red hearts dance
across the canvas,
like fireworks dance across
the night sky.

And eyes,
beautiful eyes, gazing
into each other. They see
fish face,
and fins flowing gracefully
with love, their love,
a love so wonderful, so magical,
hearts float about them,
bubbles in the sea.

The tide moves them together,
closer. He smiles; she bats
her eyes--and her soft red lips
glisten, ready for the sweet
tenderness of his kiss.

A thundering explosion
and a quiet, romantic fusion.

Vibrant reds,
luscious blues,
warm oranges,
and brilliant yellows
engulf them. Warm and fuzzy,
they are
deeply in love.

I'd say vibrant sums this up pretty well. Very nice.
