you can not sing these demons to sleep.

& i owe you money and a second chance
but i can't sleep in the rain forever.
i needed this to have a happy ending,
a beautiful way to tie things together.

you are no closer to the moon than i
and she is only drowning now
time isn't going to do anyone
any good.

that was enough.
