i'm not saying your voice
isn't good, because it's beautiful.
i've watched you bring people to tears.
but you used to play your guitar for me.
and i used to fall asleep.

this is why i think the only man
an 18 year old girl should be in love with
is her father.

because being in love
and picking a husband
is not like voting for the next American Idol.
