Spiritual Rain by Siri Lipscomb
Spiritual Rain
The Perseid meteor shower
Arrived for Megan’s birthday
A wondrous spiritual rain
Spanning the realm that is Megan
From the angular Chicago skyline
To the sparkling Venetian seas
Drenching us in the light of loving kindness
To wash away the dust of difficulty and denial
Nurturing us in tolerance and understanding
To germinate the seeds of acceptance
Drowning the weeds of pain and despair
To rinse us in the joy of laughter
Drying us in the soothing winds from heaven
To remind us all that love is all there is
Sprinkling us with the dust of wisdom
To iron out the ironies of life
Nourishing the soil of transformation
To rinse away disharmony and disbelief
Showing us the mercy of forgiveness
To melt chaos into harmony and relief
A cosmic sonata for the woman we honor today
A celebration of the wonder that she always was
And a reminder of her as she always will be
Rest in peace darling Megan
Amen
In love and light,
Aunt Siri

Posted by Maria Massarella on 08/24/08 at 05:22 PM Look, Siri my feet are bare and silent my lips harbour a tongue that recoils like an ebbing tide. Heart opens to receive your words and the prayer happens. In breaths of light, my minds eye scans skies envisioning the wondrous immensity of Megan, the graciousness of you. Enriched am I by the love, light and wisdom you shower upon us in Spiritual Rain. Grazie* lovelight&peace ... m.angelina |
