i am contagious
we break sound barriers just to have
some kind of communication outside of
the gravity we surround ourselves
with.

i don't want to know what your intentions
are even as i wear my own on my sleeves,
it is sickening how useless words can be
when we use them only to say what we
really don't mean

& i wanted to kill the smugness from your
face, careful precision and everyone tries to
touch everything,

you, caterpillar, have got to leave before
i fall in love with the terror of it all.
