Claire and I discuss
whether or not Josh hates women,
whether Fernando loves men,
whether we should just go home.

We decide to keep discussing,
keep Beth from eating a stranger's fry
and from getting into Michael's car.
She asks why, suddenly
a (twenty-)seven year old
and I explain we only learned his name
minutes ago.
She is not convinced and asks the cabbie
his opinion which he gives
with a nod of his head.
