Etheral Light

by Joe Cramer

It flashes, crashes and crackles,

Running to the window I note

A storm has raised the hackles

On my neck, I spoke

Far too soon.

Looks like a monsoon.

This greenish-grey glow

Looks like it mught snow.

I wait, inside,

And will not run and hide.

Mother Nature does call,

Flashing, crackling on the wall.

One of the many storm-watchers this season, I see. Nicely expressed.
