Life Changes the Dream....So It Seems

by Sandy M. Humphrey

You were the brightest star ever shone
In your eyes the future held a new day
When you spoke I knew words had meaning
Changes could be made and people would awaken
To a new way of thinking
Always you talked of how it would begin
Starting on the local level and a difference
Would have a domino effect
People would listen make a stand
In what they would believe
Your dream to revamp
Grassroots take hold and grow
So I guess I can accept
The grassroots effort
Begins at home
Just not sure
It has to end there
And it will not
Maybe it is the
Next generation
That makes the
Difference
Maybe
The one you teach
Will be the change maker
I still believe in you
Just do not forget to believe
In your self as well

A wonderful tribute to Jase! Indeed, it is inspirational. Fascinating format.
