we drop
like flies

in a shit storm.

feeding on the
decay of civil
realization,

holding dead animal feet
to push us
further down the menu,

but feasting
on vicarious tragedy
to fatten our lives.

i find no reason
to pursue life
in death.

it is enough in itself.
