Your pillow still

Remains empty,

Waiting for you.

Over two months

Since I opened your door,

I return to your room

Cleaning, dusting,

Straightening,

Next week I'll strip your bed

Laundering your sheets,

Freshening the comforter

Preparing your room

For your return.

It all stays the same,

It walways stays the same.
