Trying to wink in Portuguese,

I falter, stammer and stutter.

My words come out poorly,

Through no fault of my own.

My friend laughs

At all of my gaffs.

My thoughts are blown.

I type slowly,

My words flutter,

No longer at ease.

Author's Note: ... an early implosion poem... I was trying to learn Portuguese to impress someone... it didn't work....
