As We Dance

by Joe Cramer

As we dance

In pale moonlight

The moon seems

Just out of reach.

So soft it glimmers,

So weak it shines

I think, perchance

A kiss would be right?

In my dreams

I reach for you.

Your body shimmers

And becomes all mine,

As we dance.
