She was fascinating in a way

That I would not be loathe to write

So many sonnets in Portuguese.

Always so much I want to say

Of my feelings, so true, so right.

This would be my release.

I wish I could explain how I feel

About her, and my intention,

To somehow show my zeal

Without contestation.
