Heart on my Sleeve

by Joe Cramer

I'm always wearing my heart on my sleeve,

This much I know, and do truly believe

That I am simply not the kind of man

Any woman would want, I understand

There's too much inside of me. I know it,

Always penning my emotions. A poet,

What I have always and forever been.

So often I have tried to let love in.

My emotions leave me tender hearted,

I can never have the love I started

Within my heart of hearts, this much I know,

Never afraid to let my feelings show.

What I'm trying to say in words not few.

I would love to be in your life, I do.

PPPPPppppppppppppffffffffftttttttttt. We must be two peas in a pod, then, Joe. I'm the sleeve wearinest woman I know. Hehe. Anyway, as a fellow poet, I appreciate your sleeve. :-)

hello, joe. as a gal who captured a sleeve wearing guy, i have to say, those who don't appreciate your sensitivity have no clue what they are missing. utter devotion is a scary proposition...but the solid stability of such a devoted one is priceless. hang tough, she's out there.
