summer breezings

by Maria Massarella

ever in motion
Life ... were it not so
... it would be Death

currently my earthly shell is be-seated on
the city-view terrazzo inside this wondrous
moment of near silence ... music fills my heart
clear pacific azures kiss this wednesday

don't you just love the word wed-nesday!?

the wed in it widens to smiling ceremonious
sounds of unity -  it being the week's heart
weds well with the spirit of this marvelous
day winking sun-gold sparkles galore my

zephyr-friend presences ever a-tease ... silly

flirtatious breeze lifting skirts indulgent
fingering sighs ... oh, well! he needs play
frolicks as best he can while I advocate
to being tolerant and allegra condescend

to his charming mischievous ways.

Were my Wednesday as free and beautiful as this poem which I will print and sigh over as I sit perched over the view of this screen, the breeze from a small desk fan teasing wisps of hair as it tickles the imagination to join you on the terrazzo, amazing as always. smh

Nothing wrong with that. Especially when it turns up in a great piece of writing like this.

A refreshing flow of words stirring a cool breeze of thought and fantasy. Oh, that all summer breezes were so refreshing!
