knowledge: it'll cost you by Charlie MorganMary Oliver darted
around the corner;
she was being chased
by a new friend, the
one she hadn't met yet.
i always knew that was
gonna get her in trouble;
i'm just sayin', 'you
gotta be careful out there!'
can't trust everybody.
my granpa taught me that,
along with Biblical things;
tenets to live by, guides
for the journey into every
tomorrow, new days ahead.
'trust a man, when, and only
if he looks ye square in the eyes.
pretty women,too, boy! watch it!
they're sirens of wreckage.
i'm just saying, boy. 07/18/2008 Posted on 07/18/2008 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Alison McKenzie on 07/18/08 at 03:46 PM I think I always meant to acquire my knowledge by watching the Mary's forge ahead, but then, it's not in my nature to just sit still for very long. Hehe. |
