I had the definite feeling

That arcane idea

That she did not like me,

Much less my poetry.

She didn't say as much

Though she implied, as such

That I am simply out of touch.

This much, I know.

I'm better at not letting my emotions show.

What was I going to do

Much less to say

When the words are not few

And the rhymes get in the way?
