Author's Note: These Swiss mountain meadows are always reminding me of the Alpine meadows of Austria from the Sound Of Music. I can hear Julie Andrews singing the title song. I was 10 when that movie came out in 1965. It made a big impression on me for some reason, since I do not like to watch musicals. But Switzerland keeps feeling like I am in another time, maybe thirty years ago, in the US.
