It was Joern Utzen,

Though a bit sporadic,

Came up with the idea

So very melodramatic

To indeed design

A formative Opera House

That was at least sublime

For a Sydney symphony orcehstration.

Quite unfortunate, it seems

That he bailed on the plan

For cost over-runs

He simply did not understand

A bold and unique conception

That was brilliantly chosen,

And that was nothing but trouble

From its initial inception.

Unfortunately for Utzen

He never saw his creation.

It seems his one visit Down Under

Included some material so graphic

That he was requested to take habits sordid

Elsewhere. It's so ironic

As down under he was shunned

So as not to enjoy his finest erection.
