There is so much love that is in the world.

Such a sweet joy to be known, to be shared.

All because of you, as thoughts do unfurl,

I have to learn why as to how you cared.

There is a way you smile, I had not known

A manner to which I have but yet learned.

So often, your feelings, you do not show

As if all that I have shared has been spurned.

There is love in the world, yet to be found,

So much emotion left undesired.

My long troubled heart is not yet unbound,

Despite knowledge I may have acquired.

With all the love that is still yet to be,

One day, I hope, my heart is truly free.
