That smoking can kill you.

Me too.

It seems

That second-hand smoke

Is just as bad

Makes me rather sad.

I'd hate to kiss

An ash tray

Any old day.

Blame it on the French

They once thought that tobacco

Was useful in treating wounds,

Asthma and cancer.

(I love to blame the French!)

America made it popular,

Especially through Hollywood

Movies and the like.

Making it look cool

And us, the proverbial fool.

But it tastes so good!

You know you should

Quit.

Second-hand smoke

The EPA says

Has been a carcinogen

Since 1992.

So now what will you do?

Now, the largest

Grower of tobacco is China

And 90% of nonsmokers

Have smoke residue in their lungs.

Is this what you want to share,

Is this how you'll show you care?

I would be remiss

If I didn't mention

How sweet a kiss

Would be, my good intentions

Are to assist you

(With some kisses too!)

In quitting smoking.

Nicotine is a poison

But it tastes so good,

It tastes so good,

So relaxing,

And yet still taxing.

This should be reason

Author's Note: I saw a television blurb about something you place behind your ear that helps release the endorphins that make you feel better.... would this work for non-smokers?
