Achilles Heel by Joe CramerMy self-inflicted Achilles heel
Hangs before me, like the Sword of Damocles.
I admit my failings, shortcomings,
My innane addictions.
My prediction
Is that it will indeed
Be the death of me.
It has already been the dirth of me.
Perhaps if it were discovered
And aired, out in the open
That soft, sweet spot would
Simply disappear forever.
Until then, I keep my ankles covered. 06/20/2008 Author's Note: ... recent ramblings.....
