will heaven be this busy?

by Peter Humphreys

lying
on
a heather bed
a skylark's call
from heaven
I wonder
when
I shall be free
of gravity's pull
upon me
and as the cirrus clouds
do feather
a blue broad firmament
and a beetle battles
with my beard
I wonder
as he wanders
will heaven be
this busy?

It might be. I never can be sure about stuff like that. In any case, fantastic work, sir.

Another great write Peter. But, watch heaven from a distance as through a telescope. It's too early to go to bed.

How to define "busy"...quite provocative. I like this one.
