Though distances do separate

They can also bring hearts

So much closer together

Never mind the cold weather.

Or the time apart.

In pinning away,

Time lost on this day

Such a joy can be found,

Though you're not around.

In the sorrow yet sweet

Such joy will be complete.

I long for those days

In so many different ways.

Though distance draws us apart,

We know the depth of our heart.
